  Our Services

We currently offer horse boarding, riding lessons, and equine massage.

Boarding

We offer several different packages to suit every boarder's individual needs. All of our packages are full board. We currently do not offer any field board packages. Our E-Care Basic package includes turn in/turn out service, feed, basic grooming, checking the feet each evening, worming, and, of course, lots of love and affection. Farrier service and shots/veterinary expense are separate. We recommend that our boarders use our farrier and veterinarian to take advantage of any group cost savings, however it is not required that you do so. Another advantage to using the farm's farrier and vet is that you do not have to worry about scheduling or be at the farm when services are performed. If you use your own farrier and/or vet, you will be responsible for coordinating and attending appointments.

E-Care Plus is our budget billing package. It consists of all of the above but also includes basic farrier and vet expenses. This helps you avoid those periodic lump sum expenses so that you aren't constantly feeling "nickel and dimed". We will provide you with an estimate for the routine vet and farrier services you desire. This estimate is prorated over a 12-month period and included in your monthly rate. Any additional services such as urgent medical care will be billed separately.

Our E-Care Premier package includes everything the basic package offers plus lunging your horse once per week and one massage each month. Lunging and massage services may also be booked individually.

Riding Lessons

Riding lessons are available to both adults and children age 7 and older. We offer Western or English lessons and beginners may try both saddles to see which one works best. We also provide therapeutic riding to mentally and physically disabled children and adults with mild forms of Downs Syndrome, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Asberger's, and mental retardation.

Equine Massage

Equine massage is provided by Stacy Wright, owner of Sunset Ridge Stables and a certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist. In recent years, massage has become increasingly popular, particularly for competition horses and may also be used as an alternative or in addition to traditional medicine in assisting with gait problems, muscle stiffness, etc.
